Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Who we are

Hodari Group Ltd is the data controller for this website. We are registered in Ghana at R224 Okpoti St, Teshie, Accra, Ghana (GZ-156-4607). You can reach us at info@hodari.io or on +233 25 612 6014 or +233 25 612 6015.

What we collect

What you send us. If you complete the contact form we receive your full name, work email address, organisation, what you told us you need, and the message you wrote. If you add a phone or WhatsApp number, we receive that too. Nothing on the form is collected unless you type it and submit it.

Your IP address. When the form is submitted we record the IP address it came from. This is used to limit how many submissions one address can make in an hour, which is what keeps the form from being used to send bulk mail. The address is also included in the notification we receive, so we can recognise abuse.

Aggregate traffic statistics. We use Plausible Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Plausible does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not collect personal information. We see totals, never individuals.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. The only thing we store in your browser is a single note of whether you chose the light or dark theme. It stays on your device, it is never transmitted to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We process what you send through the contact form in order to answer you — you asked us a question and we cannot reply without it. We process IP addresses on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the form working and free from abuse. We do not use any of it for advertising, and we never sell it.

Who else sees it

Three service providers process data on our behalf, and none of them may use it for their own purposes:

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the code that receives the form.
  • Resend delivers your enquiry to us as email.
  • Plausible provides the anonymous traffic statistics described above.

These providers operate outside Ghana, so submitting the form involves your information being processed abroad. Beyond them, we disclose personal information only where the law requires it of us.

How long we keep it

The IP record used for rate limiting expires automatically one hour after it is written. Your enquiry itself reaches us as email and is kept as ordinary business correspondence for as long as we may need it in connection with your enquiry or our relationship with you. Ask us to delete it and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, and object to our using it. Write to info@hodari.io and we will respond. If you believe we have handled your information improperly, you may complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

Keeping it safe

The site is served only over HTTPS, and the contact form is protected by rate limiting and a spam trap. No transmission over the internet is ever perfectly secure, so please do not send us confidential or sensitive material through the form — tell us it exists and we will arrange a proper channel.

Children

This site is aimed at organisations and the people who work in them. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change how the site handles personal information, we will change this page and move the date at the top. It was last updated on 6 September 2026.
